“Falcon” 1837Edwin Henry Landseer (1802–1873) was an English painter and sculptor of the Romantic era.
I was impressed by this. I had seen a few Landseer paintings before without much interest but this one has character.

A cute little portrait of house sparrows. On seeing it, it reminded me that I haven’t seen any for ages. When I was young they were everywhere. The decline has been pronounced.
