This Steller’s Sea Eagle IS BUILDING A NEST!!! Here is the evidence! Thank you Gail Pearson, for these fantastic photos. We got you the subject matter and you got these great photos. Trinity Eco-Tours
This vagrant bird has made a splash in the last few years by flying from Asia to Texas to Newfoundland. I am a little surprised it is nesting. I don’t know what it is mated with. Bald eagles are the only likely choice it has. It was near me briefly but I never saw it.
My step sister was just in trinity bay and seen Stella from 50 ft, she was over the moon, hasn’t stopped talking about her since she’s returned home from her holiday in Newfoundland,
Maybe it found a lost and equally desperate white-tailed sea eagle and they’re trying to make it work.
