I Am Begging You to Read Terry Pratchett
A piece on Pratchett by the esteemable Helen Lewis.
I knew the name and used to see the books on the shelves but as she says due to the covers etc I just dismissed them as not worth it. She makes a case that they are excellent reading and a great intro for beginning readers. I should try one to honor my respect for Lewis but the web has been killing my long form reading with quick dopamine hits.
