Bird flu arrives in Southwest after millions of birds die

I do not know how bad it is here. The songbirds are down here but if bird flu is a factor may not be known.
I used to hear white throated sparrows a lot. I heard one on the weekend. When I was younger it was very common. Now I hardly hear any bird song. Others agree.
A park ranger I hung out with on the weekend at a camp was hearing Swainson’s thrushes.
I have never had the song ID skills of a birder. Another regret but you can’t do it all.
