This is my human, my Dad, my best buddy. We spend a lot of time together. Dad involves me in many things. We visit people at nursing homes, schools, service groups, and businesses. Dad stays right with me and keeps me safe. Dad says there are mean people out there that would hurt a snapping turtle, so he protects me. Dad calls me his little boy, a pup. I’ll be 17 this year. I have to say I didn’t think you could make a pet of a snapping turtle. Maybe I am wrong or buddy is just deluding himself. I do know people have a big thing for turtles. I have a couple of friends who are into turtle conservation. A lot more on the 20K member Facebook page.
