Just acquired this Sauer 16 gauge and the more I look at it the more things I like… side clips, Greener cross bolt, scalloped boxlock, Krupp Steel barrels, cocking indicators (?) outstanding fine engraving (look at the little guy in the oval at the back of the top rib) and the icing on the cake… it weighs less than 5-1/2 pounds!I own other German guns so I’m not unfamiliar with their craftsmanship but this one has all the bells and whistles that are normally found on higher quality guns.
