Passenger pigeon Alfred S. Wall
This FYI is about the above. The site says doves but they are passenger pigeons. I am not sure how rare they are in art but I would guess they are rare enough. I stumbled over it looking up his name due to a landscape I saw.Wall had some associations to PP. However, I can’t find anything art related.I am amazed that this piece has not been properly vetted and seems unknown after being plastered all over the web.Since you are the only one that seems art related on the staff I am sending it to you. It may be something the museum is interested in.
