The 308 is a logical choice but in case the shooter feels the undead will see him a a bit of an old fuddy duddy how about 6.5 Grendal – as when victorious against the ravening zombie horde – it'll put some powder behind the adage that 'the nerdy shall inherit the earth'

Yeah, I imagine if zombie brains are anything like people brains, a bigger hole is better. A tiny hole might just, um, destroy the zombie's sense of smell or something.^^
