Natural Wet Avalanches

We went up to the Dugway area in Logan Canyon to check out some natural wet avalanches that had dammed the Logan River early Wednesday morning (3-15-23). The sun came out from behind the clouds around noon and we observed and heard a couple more coming out of the forest and into the river. U.S. Forest Service Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest
An interesting under the radar phenomenon. I never heard of this sub class of avalanche or its dangers. .
