He had a lasting influence on a number of artists who became notable in their own right; N. C. WyethFrank SchoonoverThornton OakleyAllen Tupper True, Stanley Arthurs, and numerous others studied under him.
A good pigeon image. Pyle was a famous illustrator.
I can’t remember but I think he did the odd sporting related thing.
