Mountain lion 1, camera 0. This young cougar thought the camera was a fun new toy. Good thing Bandelier National Monument had two, so they could capture this cute moment.
Mountain lions are territorial and require large swaths of wilderness habitat to thrive. Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico provides 23,000 acres of wilderness for these cougars to roam.
