The moose rut is on. This is the best Carl Rungius moose painting I have seen. I saw one something like it when I had a moose license. I got a picture of him in the woods but when he was in the road, a few yards away, would have been amazing. What a sight. A bull in the 70 inch class. I never saw him again when the season opened.
