Just Sharing a trip from last summer in the Nevada Desert. Nevada has a Native Fish Slam challenge which includes catching a Bonneville Cutthroat, Lahontan Cutthroat, Mountain Whitefish, Bull trout, Yellowstone Cutthroat, and a Redband. I have done this challenge before but wanted to do it again, here’s a trip to the desert for Bonneville Cutthroat in Nevada for the second slam Anthony Guerrero
For years, I could never find anything on Bonnevilles. Even a picture was a rare find. It is therefore nice to see these.
It is still a little weird thinking that a desert is a good place to find trout. The trout probably think that too since the pleistocene was much wetter and times were much better then for the trout.

It appears the lake form is still hard to get a picture of.
