At least, this one looks alive. The others less so. it would sickening if they were being killed.
Taimen are a larger close relative of Huchen with I posted before. Both are cult fish now. When I was a kid so little was known or available on them it is like ancient history now.
Mongolia is the taimen stronghold now. Steve may have been near their rivers while there.
