“I can’t get no relief!”
A friend and l checked a tombolo bar July 23 and it exceeded fishing expectations. It was perfect, except for the 15-20 seals on the rocks off the end of bar. No seals and the right tide and it might be really good. I measured the water temp at 70-72 F degrees.
When I was fishing the end of the bar there were grey seals about 20 m away. I could hear moaning and groaning then weird noises that didn’t sound right. It dawned on me that they were farting up a storm. It was so loud across the water.
We checked another spot but the cliffs cut us off.
