Incan Engineering, earthworks and stone work have been fascinating people for a long time. There is much that the public doesn’t hear about like this example. The inhabitants spent a lot of time modifying their environment. Incans get the credit but they were only one culture in a long chain of them there.
Outside the Andes, there were other cultures that changed th eland like in Mesoamerica and the Amazon. There is much we are missing yet.
Finds like the above make headlines but knowledge is the true prize.
