Spent last three weeks in Portugal and took a few books off the shelf to read [ and re-read]. One was “Reading The Water” all about the characters fishing the Vineyard. Inside was an inscription that read “For XXX XXX, In anticipation of your upcoming trip where the scent of the sea, the sweep of the sky, and the swirl of a silvery striped bass await you. I hope to meet you on the Vineyard this fall where these stories took place.”
