I never used to drink but have for the last 15 years.
As Michael Pollan said in his This Is Your Mind on Plants book, once you are hooked they have you. He tried to get off it in the book and he found out just how powerful it resists. I found his comment that it is the only drug we give children notable.
I never used to understand but do now.
It is a good time to quit as the radio keeps saying the price will soon double with crop failures due to drought and  climate change\crisis.
