The November Gray’s Sporting Journal
I flipped through the November Gray’s Sporting Journal at the newstand. Terry Wieland’s shooting column was about comparing 600 pages of the worst of James Joyce versus 600 pages of the best of Annie Proulx. I didn’t read it but it may be of interest here to some so FYI.
It seems an odd match up. I may read it later. Why it is in a shooting column arouses my curiosity, too.
As most know here, Steve wrote the book review column there for years. He also taught writing with Proulx in the past.
