The mighty saber-toothed salmon: A modern Reproduction by Bo Wessman
In the ancient rivers of the Pacific Northwest, a formidable predator ruled the waterways: the saber-toothed salmon, also known as the spike-toothed salmon. This colossal fish, weighing up to 400 pounds and stretching an impressive 9 feet in length, was a true marvel of prehistoric evolution.
Millions of years ago, during the Miocene epoch, these salmon dominated the rivers, their sheer size and power making them an apex predator in their aquatic realm. Their large, serrated teeth were not just for show; they were finely adapted for catching and devouring the abundant fish and aquatic creatures that swam alongside them. Their robust jaws and muscular bodies allowed them to navigate swift river currents and tackle prey with ease.  Anthony Rubeo Outdoors
This salmon was in the news lately but I didn’t expect such a nice model so soon.
