The Amazing Haunting Mirror Sculptures in the forest by Scottish Artist Rob Mulholland . Rob Mulholland (born 1962 ) is an environmental sculpture artist that lives and works Stirlingshire, Scotland . The figures in 2009 absorb their environment – reflecting in their surface the daily changes of life in the forest. The installation of six male and female figures represent a vestige, a faint trace of the past people and communities that once occupied and lived in this space of a crafting community. The human desire to leave a trace of ones-self for future generations has always intrigued Rob ~ it is a driving force for him to create .He is now working on more large abstract pieces He is interested in elements of deconstruction and has interpreted this with sculptures . such as Skytower and Evolve in which kinetic forces appear to have torn through and re-shaped the sculptural forms. These sculptures push the boundaries of physical structural engineering allowing him to explore and develop his practice further.
I have seen stuff like it before but this still made an impression. Interesting but kinda creepy.
Ah yes, like the predator movies. That was what I was trying to think of.
