I heard the end of it where they talk about dogs eating their dead owners. It is common. Non pet dogs go for organ meat first but there is a subset where the face is eaten. It is thought it is a form of distress that the owner is not responding to them like normal. They start licking the face, taste blood, and, in 3/4 of the cases, eat the owner’s face. In one case, within 15 minutes.
