Flathead, Fish and Rams

Looking towards Flathead Lake from above Lower Valley. GravityShots

An angle of the lake I don’t remember seeing before. I drove around the lake a long time ago. It was my only time in Montana so it has stuck with me. I knew a little about the lake at the time and since then I have kept an eye on it. The flathead system was famous for its Bull Trout runs in the past. John Holt had an article or two on them in the 90’s that tweaked my interest. Since then biological changes, like lake trout and mysis introductions, have hurt the lake badly.

Also of note, wild horse island produce a great bighorn ram recently.
